It is the season of giving, and many Jewish not-for-profit organizations are receiving financial assistance from benefactors like you. To provide a better accounting of where your donation money may be going, we present to you the Forward’s eighth salary survey. Below, you will find the reportable compensation information about the executives of the largest Jewish national not-for-profit organizations in America. You can click on the name of each organization’s executive for more information.
After crunching the numbers, we have found recurring trends. Since our last salary survey, the gender gap at Jewish non-profits has only widened and a few non-profit executives are receiving extraordinary payouts. You can read further about our methodology in collecting and compiling this financial data here.
As our editor-in-chief Jane Eisner said in 2015, “If you are a volunteer at one of these organizations, a client, a donor, an employer or an employee — you deserve this information.”
