go to cs.rin.ru, elden ring page and the last page: download the update to 1.12 file from Christsnatcher and use it to update your game.

Updated for me without any problem, but I'm still not sure how to get the dlc to work. Let me know if you figure out a way

You just place the files in the directory and that is it?

So I downloaded the mentioned files and added them into the directory as in your screenshot. The game boots up normally and I see a new DLC Store option in the main menu, but it doesn't do anything when selected - this I assume is normal?

I can load up my save and works normally but I'm not really sure if the DLC is being loaded or not?

Make sure you are on 1.12 before copying the files and then you need to activate the DLC files with CreamAPI or other similar softwares

Edit your Steam_emu.ini on the game folder and on the [DLC] section add the two lines

2778580=ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree

Worked for me!!

Did you do anything other than extracting them inside game folder and typing that in steam_emu.ini?

nothing is happening to my game yet

Update the game to the latest 1.12.0 version.

The files I got had a pretty obvious exe file to run and to select the game folder and it did the rest.

Scroll down in steam_emu.ini there will be written "dlc allowed=0" change it to "dlc allowed=1"

There is only DLCunlockall = 0

put it to 1 still doesnt do anything

Yes but for it to appear open steam_emu.ini and changed "dlc allowed=0" to dlc allowed=1

When I try to extract files using 7zip gives error can not open file as archive (7zip) unexpected end of data anyone help would be appreciated plz

Yeah once I'm on 1.12 i will try to figure out a way and let you knowAny idea if this updater will work with elden ring downloaded from steamrip? As i have finished the game from steamrip and would hate to lose progress

Make sure to backup your save files just in case.

If it will work I'm not sure - I've had the original FitGirl repack since release and have updated it through all the versions released without issue using update files from cs.rin.ru

So it worked for me from 1.10 to 1.12 with the update file I mentioned. Try it out and report back, I think the installer does checks and shows you if a process during it failed.

check Christsnatchers post on cs.rin.ru regarding the update; you copy the files from the downloaded "Update" folder to the specific game directory and run the .bat file to run the update.

After it finishes successfully it will automatically delete all the update files from the directory.

So I placed the contents of "update” folder into my elden rings folder and ran the .bat file and it shows eldenring.exe not found even tho the .exe file is there

The update files should be put in the folder before that - not in the Elden Ring\Game folder.

You have to put the update files into the main directory - ex. C:\Elden Ring - there you should have the Game directory which contains the .exe file.

Got it. It is in the process. Like cmd is open and it shows saved but it does not show it is done or anything. Any idea what does it show if its done or how long it takes?

Once you ran it, you should see it going through processes and see a % progress as it goes through specific files and updates them.

yeah the topic is a bit hard to find; easiest way for me was to go to the fitgirl site and find the elden ring page and there is a link to the cs.rin.ru topic about elden ring.

Scroll up ive provided download links with explanation.. Only thing u need to do is get 1.12 patch on cs.rin.ru and apply it to ur game then follow the steps i wrote above
